REBELS….and other endangered species !

Rebels are now under a severe threat of extinction….

                        ….want to know why ?

because the CONDITIONED environment… all around us …does not let the spirit think freely !!!

Rules are for fools ?

My friend Kahlil Gibran says :

Only an idiot and a genius break man-made laws ; and they are both…nearest to the heart of God !

….and I say…..

Can Radical Ideas be Practical Ideas ?

How can anyone imagine that radical ideas are useful !!!

Radical ideas suffer from an unsaid ‘inderstanding’ among the knowledgable….that such ideas are not worth the paper they are written on ! ( ….or shall we say…in todays world…that radical ideas are not  even worth the blog/website page… they are written on )

But let us pause and ask why ?

Why are radical ideas worthless ?

Are they ???

Search inside your heart…or in the history books…or on a web pedia….

…you’ll at least get an answer….a part answer…..

It is not the idea that is seen as a worthless thing….

….it is the rebel/radical who propogates the idea….

…since a radical cannot please the non-radical and a rebel would not like to adjust the bow-tie of the system…the idea is seen as a threat…not as worthless !!!

…And that is probably the whole story…..!!! …The complete answer !!!!!

Dilemma of a creative ‘misfit’ !

 

Dilemma

I want to see the trees…some birds and some flowers

   I wish to write a poem on these lovely …monsoon showers !

 

I want to run along the winding river… down till the bend

     I wish to  spend my life….with these thoughts…till the end !

 

But Who is going to understand….yes who shall approve

    if I do not fall in the line …if I am out of groove !

 

I wish to create……I wish to rejoice !

   But these hard market realities….do they leave me any choice !?!

Courting Rebel ?

A few  Re bell thoughts from a rebel :

on courts and law…..

If we can have an anticipatory bail…..can we have an anticipatory stay order ?

If we can be held in contempt of court….can we hold the court (judges) in contempt of law ?

Can we have a stay order against the judgement of the court ?

Can we put the ball in their court ? (‘They’ here would imply the governance )

If Law is blind…..and courts go on evidence….then who really is looking !!!

CRAZY CREATIVE MISFITS !!!

Creative misfits are not fit to be mentioned

   in this world of blogging…or the ‘real’ world…. I found  out!

          these mavericks are not insiders…. they dont say things..

       in the same poetic meter …as the non-outsiders… the ones with no doubt !!! 

CAN MAVERICKS RE BELL THE CAT ?

 

If mavericks cant then who can ?

If mavericks accept the unfair status quo….then …. a tragedy would fall upon us !!!

Right from the beginning of civilization….it is the ‘outsiders’….creative ‘misfits’ and mavericks who have belled the cat !!!

It is time to RE BELL THE CAT …..

….come on…please  express yourselves….

   ….come on….please bring about the change….that we all  deeply desire…

          ….come on…please try….. !!!

COMFORT OF STATUS QUO !

There is an old saying that “God please give us courage to change what we can and accept what we cannot….and wisdom to know the difference ….!!!

There is also a saying singing virtues of a Willow….that bends… not like a proud Oak tree that refuses to bend….and breaks in a storm ….

Another way of looking at these adages is that “Let us have a comfortable life….in the status quo….”

while …to bend like a willow is a great virtue in human transactions…..it can not be condoned with a carte blanche !

If everyone is snugly resting in the status quo…then EVOLUTION….would become an impossibility….

Mavericks….Outsiders and Creative ‘misfits’ come and redefine the rules…every once in a while….and that is how this world has evolved !

hurray for the Mavericks !!!

WHO IS AN OUTSIDER ?

 According to Wikipedia   ……Outsider often refers to one identified as on the periphery of social norms, one living or working apart from mainstream society, or one observing a group from the outside, as used in:

• Outsider Art, created by artists working outside the mainstream art world
• Outsider music, composed or performed by musicians working outside the musical mainstream

   So an outsider has the following traits:

•    He/She works outside the mainstream
•    He/She observes the world from outside
•    He/She is a non-conformist

    

    …..but by no stretch of imagination….an outsider is a no-gooder !

                In fact……an outsider USUALLY provides the main stream with the so called PRACTICAL TIPS for living a more meaningful life !!!
